   For those who have never been there, and would   
   possibly visit at some point, I'd certainly recommend   
   taking an extended vacation and visit not only   
   Monument Valley, but as many of the other natural   
   wonders of the RED ROCK COUNTRY.   
      
   Brice, Zion, and Capital Reef National Parks   
   can be visited in one day if a person only wants to drive through   
   them and not stay - they're that close together   
   each with its own unique character. Also   
   there is Canyonlands N.P. in the same region, and of course the   
   Grand Canyon.   
      
   There are additional state parks and   
   National Monuments in the area - Arches Nat.Mon.   
   as one prominent example. A look at a map of   
   the Four Corners area will disclose the natural   
   attractions there. And that's not even mentioning   
   the historic Indian ruins such as Mesa Verde N.P.
