   It is indeed. It's the hiway one would take if connecting to all three   
   National Parks in a single day. Zion, Bryce and Capital Reef. There are   
   also two nice state parks along that route. NOTE: It is NOT a US hiway   
   but rather a state hiway - Utah 12. Still a very good raod, paved   
   entirely, etc.   
      
   No, it's not near Monument Valley, which is further "down" in the   
   SE corner of Utah - actually more in AZ than UT and it's US-163   
   that goes through that area.
