   Every time I've heard this argument made   
   with any "passion" it always had a tinge   
   of envy to it. I don't know why Mexicans   
   and Canadians have an inferiority complex.   
   Why can't they proudly rebut any argument   
   by simply stating how much different, better,   
   unique, more interesting etc etc the Mexican   
   or Canadian 'whatever it is' is? All three   
   cultures have proud and vivid histories of   
   their own.   
      
   Technically, Mexico was settled long before   
   the advent of western expansion to the north   
   in what became the USA. And Canada's westward   
   expansion was unique in its own way. So let's   
   compare and contrast rather than tossing   
   rocks at one another.
