   Hey, you guys stole that from Oregon, which was arguably the first   
   Californicated state due to proximity.   
      
   Many of my friends and acquaintances have left here for Oregon,   
   Nevada, and Arizona mostly. Fun to go visit them, but I fear for my   
   California license plate.  They left here because housing is so   
   unbelieveably expensive among other problems. In my area near Santa   
   Cruz, CA, a fixer upper shack can be $500,000. So they leave here and   
   make housing expensive elsewhere.
