   There was that notorious scene in an episode of "The Wire" in which the   
   dialogue was nothing but "fuck" repeated hundreds of times, as the two   
   cops were investigating a crime scene. I always took that as a dig at   
   HBO standards and practices which requires the use of foul language in   
   situations that don't require it to flesh out the characters.
