f4a2b2e6       XPost: rec.arts.movies.past-films, rec.arts.tv       From: dmatthews03@sympatico.ca              I don't know why but when I think of my wasted, TV-addled youth I seem       to recall the "lesser" oaters as being more enjoyable than the later       westerns. Maybe the genre grew up too much?              FoggyTown                            I'm with you there. I liked Westerns better when they didn't try too hard.       I got the Lone Star channel for a while and revisited many of the TV western       shows of my youth. I'd forgotten how good so many of them were, well       written and not afraid to have some good natured fun with the genre.              Dave in Toronto              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
