   He's doing some fine work on Supernatural. Overall, an OK series   
   strictly for genre fans, but he is very good in it. It's nice to see a   
   man with tools sneaking in some nice detail work around the edges. He   
   seemed to be in just about every episode last season, not a bad gig for   
   not being a series "regular." And for something totally different, but   
   illustrating some of the range, check him out in the later episodes of   
   the mini-series Daybreak, which may still be available on-line.   
      
   As for Deadwood (in almost all ways a hugely better show than either of   
   the above), I couldn't have kept watching if my mother were the lead   
   actress. Wrong-headed; just an incredible waste of some excellent   
   talent on both sides of the camera.
