   You are correct I did have the two mixed up. I do a lot of research from   
   the history books but any more at my age I do get things twisted   
   around.. So you see we both are correct. It seems that most of the   
   people who post in here are history buffs to some degree or other. We   
   read or study the same things but draw slightly different conclusions.   
   Pope's rebellion was when they killed William Bent who at that time was   
   the   
   Governor of New Mexico in his home in Santa Fe, I believe.  "OLD"   Bill
