   My statement was based on David's (not you Largo) assertion that Doc came   
   west only because he lost all his patients when he coughed in their face (an   
   item which I doubt is true).   
      
   There was no cure for TB in those days and physicians instructed their   
   patients to go west to the dry air.  It was thought the dry air helped TB.   
   Some people with TB did get better when they went west, but it was probably   
   due to working hard rather than the climate.
