I liked the book enough. Very accurate depiction       of eastern Montana. I tend to think that he spilled his guts a bit more than       your average Montanan would, but he isn't a native.              The book boils down to a modern day account of a frontier failure, very much       like most of the homesteaders up here. The only difference this time is that       Groneberg started with a *lot* more land than the homesteaders and he bought       and ran it with his parents substantial bankroll.              > (Groneberg continues to "cowboy" today on his ranch).              A quibble- He's working on someone else's ranch. He doesn't want the       resposibility of his own anymore.              Dave              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
