From: ReverseDraw@webtv.net              Hello to all,       I am currently reading Wyatt Earp, The Life Behind The Legend By Casey       Tefertiller.       On the acknowledgments page he gives much credit to Jeff Morey the       Historical Consultant       on the movie Tombstone and I can't help noticing that while the time       line is very different many of the events in the book are described much       as they were portrayed in the movie. Also while the book claims it is       not, it seems a bit       biased in Mr. Earps favor, often giving him the benefit of the doubt when       it come to some of his less savory adventures. My question being, how       well does this books motives and history stand up? I would appreciate       any thoughts or comments.              Your Humble Servant,       M.A. Smith              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
