   Just finished the book today,I agree with most of your comments but must   
   take exception to   
   the idea that his life (Wyatt Earps) is not worth   
   writing about. While he was indeed just a Bouncer ,Gambler,Saloon owner   
   and some time Lawman as many people are today whose storys would be less   
   than interesting. He happened to be very often at the right place and   
   time to make his story historically relevant   
   and of great interest .Whether or not he deserves hero status is another   
   question,   
   overall however I find his life and times worthy of study.
