   Thanks for your reply. After reading what the   
   others had to say about the autenticity of the   
   Disney version, I guess I'll remain contented   
   with having read the "Nine Lives of Elfego Baca"   
   and other writings on him. I can't recall for   
   certain, but it seems to me that Michael Otero   
   mentioned the incident in his memoirs/autobio.,   
   Volume I.
