   "Western" covers a LOT of territory,   
   both figuratively and literally.   
      
   And there are many many publishing houses in the USA.   
      
   When "western books" is the   
   subject, you need to narrow it to what "western"   
   means to you. If it's the "dime novel" genre,   
   then you might find a publisher that does more   
   than others in that particular genre.   
      
   When one considers all of the "University" presses   
   in the USA, those alone turn out an incredible   
   number of books and often on subjects of regional   
   interest.
