   Hello,   
      
   I'm performing some research for an essay I'm writing, and I was   
   wondering if anyone would be willing to volunteer their opinion on what   
   they think are the elements of a good Western story?   
      
   It seems stories of vengence or the quest for a better life are common.   
   As are stark contrasts between good and bad people.
