   For what it's worth, there still are such people.   
   The one where I live owns the race track, a museum,   
   one of two local golf courses, major interest in   
   hotels in town, a gambling casino, and a nearby   
   historic town. And that moneyed person who controls   
   the politics here doesn't even live here, but rather   
   in Palm Springs, CA.
