   No, but porno and sex books are.  If the kids are not into that stuff, yet   
   they are "readers"  then they are reading such stuff like all the games,   
   SciFi characters, Dungeons and Dragons....  There are so many things to keep   
   kids' minds off good books, sigh.   
      
   Actually, the above was what I meant when i said "not a best seller today."   
      
   But to reply to your question, I'd imagine there are many westerns more   
   popular.  I find Elmer Kelton a good writer, but there are several other   
   regulars in the genre.
