   I'll not argue with your "considered opinion."   
   But...   
   I happen to have the entire T/L series of   
   books on artists (none on the old west) and   
   I certainly DON'T consider that series to be   
   the "last word" on artists (or their art).   
   It does put information into a handy home   
   library format, and that's about all that   
   can be said for it - also for the Western series - IMO.
