   to spite. As they grow into their teens their   
   rebellious nature becomes even more pronounced.   
   Lucky is the parent who has a kid who is   
   the true "apple of his (or her) eye!" I never   
   wanted to "be like dad" - and went to great   
   lengths to avoid those life choices he made   
   for himself. And my dad was a great person,   
   very successful, and as "straight arrow" as they come.
