|    Twelve Travelers Project...    |

From: howl@dontemailme.com              The 4-story tall bronze being constructed       by sculptor John Houser is but one of       twelve that is envisioned to eventually       be erected in the Pass of the North city       of El Paso, Texas. Here is what appears       to be the official web site for the project,       beginning with the Onate page:              http://www.twelve-travelers.com/tt_onate.htm              At this time, completion of Onate is many       years overdue and way over original budget.       It's completion is still not insured, from       what I recall. And its siting is even more       uncertain. It will NOT be sited where it was       originally commissioned to be, next to the       international bridge between Juarez and El Paso.       Latest I've seen on the subject is that it will now be       placed at the entrance to El Paso's airport.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
