   Oh, I don't know about that, Carl.  How long would somebody last asking   
   questions about New York, or London on the Old West ng?  Like I won't ask   
   you if you "still beat your wife."   But if there's "nothing wrong with   
   asking questions," why not?   
      
   I mean, there is something to be said for keeping questions related to the   
   newsgroup's purpose.   That Chicago post did seem pretty far off topic.   
      
   Of course, you could carry that a lot further astray than Chicago, I guess.   
   I'll take a chance and opine that most ng habitues would appreciate if you   
   stayed a bit closer to home.   
      
   Be reasonable, please!  I hope you don't draw the Illuminati of Tesuque over   
   here!  :-)
