   And you're forgetting what little you apparently   
   know about "westward expansion." Try recalling   
   the cities that were the rendevous points for   
   the wagon trains forming up before crossing   
   the prairies - as just ONE example. And then   
   read up a bit on Mormon history and the town   
   where that faith was virtually evicted from.   
   And on and on - generalizing!!   
      
   And then there is the oldest of the old   
   west trails, the Santa Fe trail. Where   
   was its terminus in the mid-west?
