   just under "he can afford to live [in Santa Fe]" was "maybe he ... was   
   impressed with McGarrity" just gave the impression that the two reasons

   Not really.  I know NM is evolving, but at this time, I would not   
   consider McGarrity to be wrting Old West (in my personal definition).

   What a great idea, thanks!  I'd forgotten that I can browse bn and find all   
   the authors, both in/out of stock.  And I got all the info I needed to   
   answer   
   my question.   
      
   Of course, the discussion I was hoping for is a bit one-sided.   Okay, I'll
