   I would guess that your ability to express yourself   
   so well in written words correctly spelled has a   
   lot to do with your love of reading. I share your   
   experience, but I could never get my two sons to   
   read, regardless of the "carrots" I used to intice   
   them - even subscribing to comic books for them   
   at one point, hoping that "any reading" was better   
   than none. Of course that was the TV era, and there   
   were no computers to "play" with at that time, so   
   they were early victims of TV addiction at a time   
   when it was more common for the entire family to   
   watch those "all in the family" TV shows regularly.
