   They sure did. Pretty sad scene. I taped it last night and just   
   watched the tape (although it does get repeated on HBO). Bill was an   
   imposing and important part of the show. This is another twist in the   
   series.   
      
    In other past TV series they might've knocked off a big guy to   
   terminate a long successful run of several seasons. These people do it   
   almost right at the start. That is interesting. On several grounds   
   this is a quality production.
