   That's the nail I'm familiar with too - but I   
   know of no reason they would differ for horses   
   and mules. What differs is the use the horse   
   or mule is put to, from what little I know on   
   the subject. Race horse shoes and nails differ   
   from draught horse and both differ from range   
   horses (cowboy mounts). I saw a pickup truck   
   just today with advertising on the door that   
   indicated it belonged to a farrier. If anyone   
   had been around I would have stopped and asked   
   some "pointed" questions. But the pickup was   
   parked on the street with no one in sight.
