   Well, I doubt if I've ever driven a nail straight anyway!   
   Not unless I drill a pilot hole first. OTOH, I've never   
   bothered flattening the point as David suggests, even   
   though I know that guy who renovates houses on TV has   
   shown me how that works on one of his programs.
