"Superman IV: the Quest for Peace" (1987)
"Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home" (1986)
There was also a V & VI in the Star Trek series. Once they switched
from the original crew to "Next Generation" they dropped the number
scheme and went with titles only.
Those were just 2 off the top of my head. A search for movies with the
Roman Numeral 4 (IV) in the title turned up 154 entries on IMDb,
though a few denoted something other than the 4th film in a series
(like Henry IV) or were alternate titles to films better known by
   other names.
There was just a discussion on one of the news networks last night
about how badly most of the movies released this summer have dropped
off at the box office after the first weekend, and the number of
sequels was cited as a contributing factor.
BTW, what is "Quo Vadis IV"? Couldn't find a listing for movie with
that title, though there are 11 listed with "Quo Vadis" in the title.
Are you maybe confusing "Quo Vadis" with "QB VII" based on the Leon
Uris novel of the same name?
