   That's odd!  I'd swear I've seen PhD's in History   
   that those with the title are proud to acknowledge.   
   As for a degree making anyone "good" at anything,   
   I would say that without the education you're like   
   a person building their first house without knowing   
   how to properly lay the foundation.
