   A while back during a discussion of western movies and TV shows   
   someone mentioned a series about a US Marshall and a Mountie working   
   together, but nobody could come up with the title at the time.   
   Tonight while watching the pilot episode of "Peacemakers" my wife and   
   I were trying to think of it again and she said "I know it had   
   something to do with the US/Canadian border", at which point the dim   
   bulb in my brain brightened a tad and I remembered that factoid was   
   the key to the title: "Bordertown", as the town supposedly actually   
   straddled the border and the two lawmen had joint jursidiction. The   
   woman in the middle was also the town doctor. IMDb lists the show as   
   being made in 1989 (didn't realize it was that long ago).   
   For those who couldn't sleep another wink until they got the answer,   
   there 'tis!
