   Jason,   
               I collect western antiques and photos,  while I was recently   
   in  Deadwood I picked up some cabinet card photos taken in the area one   
   was from a photographers studio in Lead. I  hadn't really looked at the   
   cards to closely and simply put them away with a lot of other photos and   
   such that I had purchased. However now that I've had a chance to look at   
   them the one from Lead of a young lady standing next to a seated  man   
   who is about  in his mid 20's and who looks exactly like Butch Cassidys   
   famous   
   1894 Mug Shot photo.Now I know that the chances are slim that this is   
   him and I've seen quite a few photos that kind of looked like some one   
   famous,but I've got to say that this is a Dead Ringer! Hair is   
   similar,ears,nose,mouth the same,and he even has that arch in the one   
   eyebrow! If I can find some evidence that he might have been in that   
   area (and you have given me two possible connections) I am going to   
   persue this and try and get some expert opinions on the possibility that   
   this is an unknown photo of Ol' Butch himself! Your further opinions on   
   this would be greatly appreciated!
