From: clematis@dontemailme.com              Jane Candia Coleman has just published a       fictionalized version of the unpublished memoirs of       Alvira (Allie) Sullivan Earp, wife of Virgil.              Tombstone Travesty, Allie Earp Remembers       2004, Five Star Press, Waterville, MA              Does anyone know the details of how Virgil       came to have his right arm nearly shot off       at the elbow? It happened *after* the famous       OK Corral incident. It's not clear in the       book what the actual circustances were that       caused Virgil to lose the use of his left       arm for the rest of his life. The book does       mention that Wyatt went after two of the       Clantons and Curly Bill for the shooting, but       no details about how it happened.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
