   Being an artist myself, I couldn't help musing about how   
   the many many illustrators of the era remain both unknown,   
   and forgotten if they ever were known. The illustrations   
   speak tons about their ability to draw, and to commit to   
   memory so many of the details. If any did have photo   
   references to work from they certainly didn't have them   
   for things in motion - re: bucking horses, rocking stage   
   coaches, and other such depictions.
