   I can't answer your questions about train robbers,   
   but one of the most interesting facts about stage   
   coach holdups is that one of the very last to be   
   held up was at gunpoint by a woman and her accomplice.   
   I recently finished reading Jane Candia Coleman's   
   factually based fictional account of Pearl Hart. She   
   and a character known as Joe Boot held up a stage   
   in Arizona territory, and she went to prison for it,   
   was later released and married and lived out her life   
   as a peaceful ranch wife.
