   I don't know the names of all the towns that were   
   once viable "old west" sites, but here is one that   
   was once, and is planned to be once again and is   
   but one of those now "privately owned:"

   Shakespeare, NM also comes to mind, where the people   
   who own that old west town allow visitors (for a   
   fee, of course). I've read of other towns in Wyoming,   
   Montana, California and other locales that are now   
   privately owned.
