   Ummmm...don't think so!  Unless you are narrowly   
   defining "tomahawk" to mean those weapons made   
   with iron (or metal) heads. Many of those made   
   as trade goods doubled as peace pipes. I've seen   
   them made so that the "peen" head of the iron   
   tomahawk is hollow, forming the pipe bowl. This   
   mimicks the eastern Indian "peace pipe" made from   
   antler or wood that was already a well-established   
   design before the arrival of Europeans.
