   That was certainly NOT the case at Wounded Knee,   
   where the troops were all regulars, I believe.   
   Ken Burn's THE WEST series addresses eyewitnesses   
   who were watching a group of boys playing, like   
   all young boys do, just before the attack. They   
   were thoroughly and totally annihilated, along   
   with many of the other women and children in the   
   encampment. And yet some still managed to survive   
   that massacre.
