   Since you're taking liberties to tout this book,   
   I'll toss in one that is more appropriate, since   
   it at least concerns "The West" - or more specifically,   
   the Texas Southwest.

   by Joaquin Jackson and co-author.   
      
   It's a must read for anyone with any interest in   
   the history of the Texas Rangers. Jackson recounts   
   his own experiences in his long career during the   
   last half of the 20th century.
