   Most people here in Alberta were not thrilled that Ang Lee chose here to film   
   this   
   homosexual "Western."   
      
   He is a talented film maker. Witness his really good Civil War flick "Ride   
   With the   
   Devil." But he seems to be eager to climb the Hollywood ladder by kow-towing   
   to the queer   
   community there. Probably it is "de rigueur" to do so if one wants an Oscar   
   someday.
