From: russell-watson@att.net              I'm looking forward to the release of this movie next Friday. I've       read the book it's based on and it appears that they took the smallest       kernel of the basic plot and the names of the characters to use in       making the movie, based on what is shown in previews. Not atypical of       Hollywood interpretations, and in this case probably not a bad idea. I       found the book to be rather dry reading, and a real throwback to       really old style westerns, despite having been originally copyrighted       in 1990. While Duvall comes fairly close to the description of his       character in the movie, the guy Costner plays is a completely       different physical type as described in the book, as is Annette       Bening's.       '97 FLSTF       To reply by e-mail, remove nospam from address.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
