Guy on rec.art.movies.current-films claims to have seen it a couple
weeks ago in a sneak preview and says it's pretty good. He says the
gunplay so emphasized in the ads is all at the climax of the picture
and takes up just a few minutes of the total run time of the film.
It's based on a book called _The Open Range Men_ by Lauran Paine. Of
course it's currently available under the same title as the movie,
just as Forrest Carter's _Gone to Texas_ became _The Outlaw Josey
Wales_ after the Eastwood movie came out in '76.
