   Wrong, you could install it without hack. Then Microsoft added the   
   protection and even Linux would not install. Some Linux fan came up with a   
   hack to install it, and now I think Mircosoft ships a Linux that will boot on   
   it.   
      
   But if you get a copy of a plain jane Linux it will not boot till you do the   
   hack.
