|    Is Linux the Next BEOS or OS/2?    |

XPost: comp.os.linux.advocacy, comp.os.os2.advocacy       From: the.anthill.mob.RAID@gmail.com              Face it Linux has had more than enough time to make it's presence known as       a desktop system and it has failed miserably.       THird world countries and a handful of minor companies don;t even put a       ping in Microsoft's market.              So I ask, is Linux desktop headed for extinction like BEOS and OS/2 both       of which were superior to Windows.              Linux is free, supports a fair amount of hardware and includes a ton of       free programs so why isn't anyone interested?       Common sense would dictate Linux would steamroll Microsoft, yet Linux       remains a virtual unknown amongst average Jane.       Why?       Maybe because it sucks and the public is not interested?                            --       The Anthill Mob        Kill the RAID to reply              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
