   Greetings, everyone.

I was wondering if the BeOS would be a good platform for me.

All I really need to be able to do is some Forth programming,
some web design, and maybe a little bit of internet access
   here and there.

1.) Does BeOS have SMP capabilities?
2.) Can I use it as a telnet server?
3.) Is it true that it's a 'dead' platform?
4.) Is 'Zeta' a viable replacement for it?

I appreciate any help in this matter. Thank you.
