|    Is the BeOS a viable platform for me?    |

XPost: alt.flame, alt.os.linux       From: msibb@earthlink.net              Greetings, everyone.              I was wondering if the BeOS would be a good platform for me.              All I really need to be able to do is some Forth programming,       some web design, and maybe a little bit of internet access       here and there.              1.) Does BeOS have SMP capabilities?       2.) Can I use it as a telnet server?       3.) Is it true that it's a 'dead' platform?       4.) Is 'Zeta' a viable replacement for it?              I appreciate any help in this matter. Thank you.              --       "E' tartinius e' forthlalen."       msibb@earthlink.net              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
