|    Back (Again) A few questions    |

From: tubular@xooties.com              Hi              Great to see the NG is going well. Ages ago I had some questions,       tried out BeOs loved it (thanks for the help back then) but couldn't       get it to work again on the upgraded computers or the newer ones I       bought. :-(              Back then it looked like BeOs was near its end. Came back to see if       anything was happening and surprise you guys (or some amongst you) are       hard at it. :-)              So sorry about the questions (all over again) but here they are (and       yep they are new ones):              1. Is the BeOS Max Edition 2.1 BeOs 5 (with extra drivers)?              2. Does the above version have the same limitations the PE edition had       (I forgot if it was 400 or 500 MB) and is it as easy to install as the       earlier version?              3. Will it run on the following systems:              a. Intel 3.1 Gig (processor)        128 MB video card        80 & 120 Gig Hard Drives        DVD & CD R/W Burners        1.5 Gig Ram              (One computer running Win XP Pro)              b. Intel 2.4 Gig (processor)        64 MB Video Card        60 Gig Hard drive        DVD & CD R/W Burners        5112 MB Ram              (Two computers both running Win XP Home Edition)              c. Intel 750 & 850 Mhz        64 MB video card        CD R/W Burners        40 & 60 Gig Hard Drives        5112 MB Ram              (Two computers both running Win 98)              Sorry about all the questions but I really had to know; I tolerated       Win98 but absolutely hate XP :-(              Thanks again ... with fingers crossed that it will work on the above       systems.              Tube.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
