|    EasyMounter and cifsmount Q's    |

From: reidrik_von@hotmail.com              A complete BeOS newbie here trying to get EasyMounter version 0.8 BONE to       work on my 5.0PE install. I'd like to be able to mount a shared folder on       my XP machine. I have downloaded and installed the app and when I try and       launch the easy mounter icon, I get an error that reads:              Could not open "EasyMounter" (Missing Library:       libbind.so)              Any thoughts on what the problem is? Do I need to be running anything in       conjunction with EasyMounter to get it to work?              Also, I understand that all Easymounter does is act as a front-end to the       command line utility cifsmount. I tried using this command line from a       terminal window but was unsuccessful and the displayed Help did not help...       Could someone let me know exactly what to enter given the following:       -the home network consists mainly of windows machines on a workgroup call       ABC       -the XP machine that has the shared folder that I want to access is called       GOATHEAD       -the shared folder on the XP machine is DOCUMENTS       -there is a user account PHIL that has no password       -my router/hub does the dhcp and the be box has internet connectivity              what to i enter to mount the DOCUMENTS folder?              Many thanks!              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
