   No linux would install on this P1 compaq deskpro without crashing   
   halfway through. But BeOS PE would install via windows so after using PE   
   for a few months I decided to try to install BeOS MAX...it didnt install   
   either...kernal panic thingy. But I used the existing install of BeOS PE   
   as the platform to install MAX :)   
   Just use installer app and go. THere were some apps that had broken   
   icons indicating they didnt install properly but I looked in /boot/apps   
   and saw all the compressed files there and just uncompressed them.   
   Now EVERYTHING WORKS.   
   BeOS rules :)   
   Oh, you have to use Drive Setup to partition while in PE.   
   But its cake.
