|    DNS Problem??    |
|    06 Nov 03 21:10:21    |
I use BeOS 5.03Pro and I can not reach the internet, because it seems       unable to lookup the servers. I think something went wrong with my DNS,       for some reason. It seems I can not reach the web, with anything (any       web browser, Jabber, Portspy, Pineapple), and it doesn't matter is I       connect by modem or use my wireless network. Have restarted network a       number of times, and no change. I tried reboot and no change. I tried to       unzip and reload Mozilla, but no change. I am still using the original       networking that came with on the CD. I download and install the new lib       pack and soundplay from bebits last night, but it still worked fine       after that point. It went out tonight.              Now, the only thing I can think of is to try and reload the operating       system again. Does anyone have any better ideas of what went wrong and       how to fix it. Thanks--Dwight              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
