   I used the 2940U2W just like you, for a number of years. I still have it.   
   I suggest you get another one. They are cheap, work well and are compatible   
   with every single OS known to man, including every Linux/BSD OS.   
   Further, the BeOS 2940 drivers have been thoroughly used/tested. I am unsure   
   as to how well the U160 Dano driver works, considering it was never   
   officially released.
