   Moreover it's one of the most powerful features that MacOS always had   
   (where BeOS got it from IIRC too)...   
   And the answer to your question (although it is ironic... I am not THAT   
   naïve ;-)  is that if you don't want an intelligent system... then go   
   ahead and use Windows :-) (Although for some of us Windows is the only   
   possibility as it is forced by regs. (ie my Uni) upon us... :-(
